HLS, is a streaming protocol developed by Apple for online streaming of video or audio to iOS devices
such as iPhones and iPads. Originally used only for Apple devices, HLS is now supported by additional devices such as Android-based smartphones and OTT devices.
To ensure maximum high-quality streaming with no buffering, our CDN will publish your HLS Webcast on multiple servers. When using our Playout, getting the Webcast
started is easy. Just point the output from your Playout to our network and we will do the rest. We also provide a ready-made HLS compatible HTML5 Video Player so
that your Webcast can be seen on virtually every desktop (Windows and Mac), mobile (iPhone and Android) or OTT device (Roku and Chromecast).
